The gorgeous Julie and Michael tied the knot in an intimate and charming wedding that completely matched their personalities. Fun, charisma, warmth and family – these four things perfectly capture Michael and Julie as people, and were the same four ingredients to their perfect day.
Held at the Grounds in Alexandria, this is one of the best places for Sydney Wedding Photography. Soul-filling sounds of the violin and cello filled the air during the ceremony, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Julie slowly walked down the aisle. With an eye for fashion, she was ever the stunning bride. In fact, the only person who could match her was Michael – himself a big fashionista! Rocking a suit from his favourite Sydney tailor, P.Johnson, not to mention the bespoke shoes, he made a charming groom.
With their “I do’s” exchanged, the venue quickly shifted into party mode. Violins were swapped for the Septembers, who livened things up for the rest of the night. Bundles of little jam jars were lit with candles. And Sapporo beers were served to the guests – a subtle reminder of Michael’s proposal to Julie in Japan. These were the little personal touches that made the wedding so memorable. That and the naked cake, of course. (Is there anything more hipster than a cake without icing?)
We absolutely loved being part of this amazing wedding. Congratulations again to Michael and Julie – if your wedding day is anything to go by, we know you’ll be very happy together!
